Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, and in the wonderful care of the community palliative care team from St. Francis Hospice Blanchardstown, and by her long-term carers Geraldine, Natasha and Angela. Predeceased by her husband Willie, and daughters Carmel and Esther.

Kay will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her loving family, Margaret, Eileen, William, and Marian, grandchildren, Naomi, Lauren, Aoife, Colm Luke and Karen, great grandson Dawson, sons-in-law Peter, Lee and Robert, late daughter-in-law Linda, brothers Paddy, Liam and the late Michael and Brian, lifelong friend Charlotte, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

FLANNERY, James Edward, Foxrock, Co. Dublin. Our beautiful boy who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on 23rd January 2025, to the inexplicable grief of his loving family who utterly adored him.

He will be forever missed for the light, the love and the laughter he brought to all our lives and will always be especially remembered for his beautiful smile by his parents John and Orlaith, sisters Anna, Caroline and Rachael, brother-in-law Aaron and Rachael’s partner John, grandparents Eamon (predeceased) and Anne, Poppa Jim and Mags. His many aunts, uncles and cousins whom he adored and was adored by.

James had a wide circle of friends encompassing his buddies from Blackrock College and Shannon College of Hotel Management.

Mary has been a resident in Newpark Care Centre for more than 19 years (since May 2005). Newpark has been her family since that time, and we are all deeply sad to see her go. She will be very much missed by all the staff, residents, and many family members with whom she created a special bond.

MOONEY, Thomas (Tom), 20th January 2025, Rossmore, Templeogue, D.6W, late of Smurfit Kappa. Suddenly at home.

Beloved husband and best friend of Brenda, loving and much-loved dad of Elaine, David and Naomi. Tom will be forever loved and dearly missed by his wife and children, sons-in-law Ian and Trevor, daughter-in-law Anna, his adored grandchildren Darragh, Emily, Daniel, Natalia, Isabella and Mia, brothers Tony, Patrick and John, sisters Breda, Marie and Joan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, colleagues and his golf friends from Newlands Cross Golf Club and the K Club.

Tom will be reposing at his home this Saturday afternoon, 25th January from 6pm – 8pm. Removal from his home on Monday morning, 27th January to the Church of St. Jude the Apostle, Templeogue arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Cremation thereafter in Newlands Cross Crematorium.
