James (Jim) Ryan
“We wish to share that our father James (Jim) Ryan passed away on November 17th, 2024.
Born in December 1947 to his parents in Cabra, recently of Glasnevin and formerly of Templeogue, Jim was predeceased by his (son) Gavin in 2019 and was father of Clive, Sinead and Debbie, and once husband to Anne.
He was recently very unwell, and sadly succumbed to his illnesses at the weekend.
Anyone who knows our family will be aware that our relationship with Jim was complicated for the last long number of years and was fraught with challenges and distances—both physical and emotional—yet the news still feels heavy for us today.
We carry memories of childhood moments, both the good and the painful, and while we did not have the relationship we once hoped for, we still feel a sense of sadness and loss.
The family will be reflecting on, and marking this sombre occasion privately together.
Rest in some Peace, Jim.”
