Derek will be very sadly missed by his loving wife and bestfriend Joan, adored father to Fiona, Ciarán, Róisín and Siobhán. Beloved grandfather to Lughaidh, Éabha, Sophie and Ben, son-in-law, Brian, daughter-in-law Gaby, brothers, Frank and Donal, sister Ursula, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-niece, grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

An inexpressible loss to his wife Edel, daughter Sorcha, son Muiris and their partners Rosie and Thomas, his brothers Tomás and Maolíosa, sisters Eimear, Niamh, Sadhbhanna and Aoife and their families. He will be sorely missed by his many colleagues in the National Museum and by scholars of archaeology, art history and history far and wide.

Beloved husband and best friend of Barbara, loving and much loved dad of Rachel. Eugene will be forever loved and sadly missed by his wife and daughter, brothers Jimmy, Paul, Anthony and Sammy, sisters Betty, Janet, Maureen, Caroline and Geraldine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Eugene is now reunited with his dearly departed parents Sam and Eileen, and brother John.
