We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother who, surrounded by her loving family, left us on 9th October 2024 in the wonderful care of the staff of Tallaght University Hospital. Pre-deceased by her husband Charlie, her sisters Ann and Claire, her brothers Tony and Paddy, and most recently by her beloved daughter Rosalind.
A devoted mother to Hugh, Gabrielle and Colm, cherished Gran and dear friend to Cathal, Nella, Daisy, Senan, Alannah, Aédammair, Seraphim, Isaac, Elias and Erasmus, and much cherished great-granny to Tess, Carmel will be forever loved and sadly missed by her family, her daughters-in-law, son-in-law, her nieces, nephews, extended family relatives, friends and neighbours. Carmel filled our lives with love, kindness and joy. She will be remembered for her unwavering support, warm hugs, and the love she brought into our lives.

Loving and much-loved husband of Siobhán, devoted Dad to Ewan, Ciara and Meghan. James will be forever loved and dearly missed by his heartbroken wife and children, his mother Anne, brothers Peter, Robert (twin brother), Thomas and John, parents-in-law Tom and Margaret (Sheerin), sisters-in-law Lorraine, Maria (Murphy) and Catherine, brother-in-law Seán and Robin, his godchildren Conal and Robert, nieces, nephews, extended family, colleagues, “His Young Men” at Willow Park Junior School, friends and especially the coaches and young players in Howth Celtic where he coached and mentored.
