BROUDER, Gerard Francis (Gerry), late of Blackrock, Co Dublin, formerly of Limerick, 5th November 2023, peacefully after a long illness, in the kind care of the doctors and nurses of Blackrock Hospice and especially of Elm Ward, St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Elder son of the late Michael and Eileen Brouder, and brother of the late Michael, Limerick.
Deeply regretted and dearly beloved of Valerie (Val), his wife and soulmate of 52 years, his loving sons, David and Geoff, their partners Helen and Elizabeth, and his adored grandchildren: Dylan, Jaime, Aisling and Aoife, by the Purcell families (Pierce’s in Galway, Joan Canelada’s in Spain), his many friends and caring neighbours.
