MANNING-BARRETT, Vera of Glenbanoo Bantry and Blackrock Dublin, former Director of Nursing, St Marys Hospital, Phoenix Park, Tuesday 18th July 2023 (peacefully) at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.
Predeceased by her parents John Manning and Jane Cronin, her brother Jerry and her sister Nan. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her husband Joe Barrett, her sisters Sheila Geraghty, New York and Bridget Manning, Florida, nephews John and Michael Geraghty, brother-in-law Padhraic, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Coakleys Funeral home Bantry on Friday 21st of July from 8pm followed by vigil prayers at 9pm. Vera’s Requiem Mass will take place at St. Finbarr’s Church, Bantry on Saturday 22nd of July at 12pm, followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry.
