Hughes, John, Glasnevin, formerly Sligo Town. 9th March 2025. Passed away peacefully in Beneavin House Nursing Home surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his baby son Michael, father Michael and mother Lily.
John will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Breda, daughters Suzanne and Helen, grandchildren Seán, Kevin, Aoife, Killian and Leah, sons-in-law Derek and Brian, sisters Anne, Eleanor and Judy, Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Massey Bros, Funeral Home, Main St, Finglas, D11 ET7P on Tuesday 11th March, from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal to Our Mother of Divine Grace Church, Ballygall Road East, on Wednesday morning, arriving at 9.50am for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Burial will take place on Thursday afternoon at 2.00pm in Sligo Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Commons, Sligo.
