SWEENEY, Patricia, (Patty), (née Hyland), July 4th,2023, from Galtymore Road, formerly from Kilworth Road, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff in St. James’s Hospital and previously in the Croft Nursing Home, Goldenbridge. Pre-deceased by her husband James and son Jim. Loving mother to Stephen, Bernice and Laura, cherished grandmother to Sinéad, Ciara, Shane and Joe, doting Great grandmother to Megan, Heidi and Odhrán, beloved great, great grandmother to Croía. Patty will be forever loved and sadly missed by her family, son-in-law Eamon, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her daughter Bernice’s house on Friday July 7th, 2023, from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning July 8th 2023 to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church Mourne Road for 10am Requiem Mass with burial thereafter in Newlands Cross Cemetery D24 EP83, at 12 noon.
