WALSH, Christy (Peter), 12th May 2024, Broadford Crescent, Ballinteer, D.16, late of Colaiste Éanna and Loughanemon, Claremorris, Co. Mayo. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice, Blackrock. Predeceased by his beloved wife and soul mate Rena, his parents Peter and Bridie and his brother Pat.
Christy will be sadly missed by his loving daughters Tanya, Tara, Lisa, son John, and nephew Bernard, his brother John, sisters Philomena and Ann, sons- in-law Tim and Aidan, daughter-in-law Sharon, his adored grandchildren Emma, Éabha, Ella-Rose, Adam, Shae and Rían, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, his wonderful neighbours, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Massey Bros Funeral Home, Templeogue Village this Wednesday evening from 8pm to 9.30pm. Removal from his residence on Thursday morning to the Church of the Holy Spirit, Ballyroan arriving for 10am Requiem Mass followed by burial in Kilmashogue Cemetery.

We as a family would like to thank all the exceptional doctors, nurses and carers who looked after Christy so well during his illness especially the staff at Harold’s Cross Hospice and Blackrock Hospice. We would also like to thank friends, neighbours and all those who supported him and our family during this time.
