Denis Donnelly - 10th February 2023 - late of the Navan Road, Dublin 7, formerly of Lettermullen, Co. Galway. Retired Prison Officer of St Patricks Institution and Mountjoy Prison. Formerly a member of the Irish Defence Forces and, An Garda Síochána. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the doctors and nurses in CCU and the Cypress Ward in James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown. Denis will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his beloved wife Elizabeth (Lily) and his loving children Pauline, Noel, David, Mark, Stephen and Carmel, his 11 adoring grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and partners Declan, Mark, Karen, Noeleen, Grainne and Leona, his sisters Kathleen, Treasa and Angela, brothers-in-law Derek and Joe, sister-in law Mary, his nieces, nephews and his extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Massey Bros Funeral Home, Cabra, D07 ET92 on Sunday 12th February from 4pm to 6pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to St. Mary’s Church, Claddagh Quay, Galway City, arriving at 11.50am for Requiem Mass at 12pm, followed by burial in Bohermore, New Cemetery, Co. Galway.
