Peter (James), McGowan. (Late of Navan Road, and previously of The Cumberland Inn, Dun Laoghaire) - 17th March 2023, suddenly and peacefully, surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of Liz, Miguel and their teams in St. Raphael’s Special Care Unit of the Mater Hospital.Beloved husband and best friend to Colette for 51 years, dearest father to Peter (Vincent) and Celine. He will be sadly missed by his family, daughter-in-law Pauline, son-in-law Andrew, brothers Jim, Terence, Patrick; sister Annemarie, in addition to his much-loved cousins the McGowans of Phibsboro. Pre-deceased by his brothers, Frank, John, Michael and sisters Margaret and Sr. Rosemary. Will be most sorely missed by his adoring grandchildren who he doted on; Jack, Hannah, Matthew, Max, James, Sam & Luke; nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law, wonderful neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Massey Bros Funeral Home, New Cabra Road D07 ET92 on Wednesday 29th March, from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Navan Road, D07 CKR7, arriving at 11.50am for Requiem Mass at 12pm, followed by Cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium Chapel.
