Loughman, Bertie (John Albert) on 4th August 2022. Springhill Avenue, Blackrock, Co. Dublin. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the care of the wonderful Wicklow Hospice. Beloved husband of Marie (née Wall). Sadly missed by his children Stephen, Cecily, Sarah, Andrew and Enda, his daughters-in-law Noeleen, Carol and Jenny & his sons-in-law Nicky and Conor. Beloved brother of Marie (Browne), his late brother James and late sisters Ria (O’Neill) and Cecily. The memory of his legendary sense of humour will be treasured by his grandchildren Mark, Emily, Jane, Sadie, Cian, Aisling, Dylan, Maya, Andrew, Bert and Ted. He will be greatly missed by his in-laws in the Wall and Loughman families and by his many friends and neighbours.
Reposing at Massey Bros Funeral Home, 5 Newtown Park, Blackrock, Co. Dublin on Tuesday 9th of August from 5pm to 7pm. Bertie’s funeral mass will take place at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock at 10am on Wednesday 10th August, followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill. Those who cannot attend the funeral mass can view the service by clicking here.
